Bookkeeping is the foundation everything else rests on: the tax return, the financial statements, and management’s own decisions. We record your transactions as they happen and in line with accounting principles, so the end of the period arrives with your books ready, rather than a pile of invoices waiting for someone to sort them.
Bookkeeping services
Organised monthly bookkeeping: entries, bank reconciliations, and a trial balance ready for audit.
Who this service is for
For small and medium companies whose size does not justify a full-time accountant, for companies that have an accountant but want a second pair of eyes on the work, and for tax-registered companies that find themselves gathering documents in a rush before every filing deadline.
What the service covers
- Recording the daily entries for sales, purchases and expenses.
- Monthly bank reconciliations and balance matching.
- Tracking customer and supplier accounts and their ageing.
- Preparing the trial balance and the periodic financial statements.
- Organising an electronic archive of supporting documents that is easy to search.
How we work
- An introductory session to understand your activity and your billing and collection cycle.
- Adopting a chart of accounts that suits the activity, or tidying the existing one where there is one.
- Carrying forward the opening balances and reconciling them before current recording begins.
- A fixed monthly cycle: receive the documents, record, reconcile, then a short report to you.
- Closing the period and preparing the file for what follows: the tax return, the audit, or both.
Regulatory framework
Law in the United Arab Emirates requires companies to keep accounting records that accurately reflect their transactions, and to retain them with their supporting documents for the prescribed period. Organised books are not a formality: they are what you rely on before the Federal Tax Authority in any review.
Books kept monthly cost less than books rebuilt at the end of the year.
Frequently asked questions
What if our books are months behind?
We start by scoping and tidying the backlog, then move to current recording. The two periods are handled in parallel until the file settles.
Does this include filing the tax return?
Filing is a separate service, but it is built directly on these books. Many of our clients combine the two because it avoids duplicated work.
Do you work on a particular accounting package?
We work on whatever you already use if it suits your activity. If it does not, we recommend an alternative and handle the migration without a break in recording.
